As Glory Communications closes on the $2 million sale of 95.3 WFMV-FM South Congaree/Columbia SC, the company has moved its Gospel programming to 620 WFMV Cayce (formerly WGCV)/96.3 W242CR Columbia.
The WFMV programming replaces the mix of Gospel and Talk programming heard on the former WGCV. The State reports that morning Sports talk host Teddy Heffner will relocate to iHeartMedia’s “Fox Sports 1400” WCOS Columbia starting February 10.
WFMV-FM will join Augusta Radio Fellowship’s Christian Preaching “GNN Radio” network. The deal allowed Glory Communications to continue to operate the HD2 of WFMV-FM for six years and HD3 for one year to continue to feed Christian Preaching “Worship & Word Network” 105.1 W286CT Columbia and younger skewing Gospel “Millennial-FM” 95.9 W240AX Columbia.
