Cumulus Media is debuting a new local morning show at News/Talk 810 KGO San Francisco while moving the syndicated Armstrong & Getty over to sister Conservative Talk 560 KSFO.
Nikki Medoro will move from serving as co-host/news anchor for afternoon host Chip Franklin to anchoring “The Morning Show with Nikki Medoro” from 6-10am. She will be joined by Bret Burkhart as co-host/news anchor. Medoro has been with KGO since 2011 and previously served as an anchor and reporter for KLIV San Jose and KFBK Sacramento. Burkhart has been with KGO since 1999 and has also worked at KPAY Chico and KFBK Sacramento.
The remainder of the KGO schedule will remain in-tact, while Armstrong & Getty’s syndicated show moves to 6-9am at KSFO. The Sacramento based show debuted on KGO in April 2016 after previously being heard in the market on 910 KKSF.
The new lineups will take effect on Monday, March 2 and follow the retirement of KSFO morning host Brian Sussman last month.
