Bible Broadcasting Network will acquire Christian AC 102.9 WFUR-FM Grand Rapids MI for $2.75 million. Upon closing of the sale, BBN will convert WFUR-FM to non-commercial status running their Christian Preaching network.
High Plains Radio Network sells Regional Mexican “La Caliente 92.7” 1310 KZIP/92.7 K224EF Amarillo TX and “La Caliente 98.3” KICA-FM Farwell TX/Clovis NM to Christian Ministries of the Valley for $150,000. The buyer operates the Spanish Christian “Radio Vida” network across West Texas.
High Plains Radio Network also sells “Mountain Country” 94.3 KCMC-FM Mountain Home AR to Jay Brentlinger’s Broadcast Industry Group for $5,000. The group has been LMA’ing six other Arkansas stations from the seller including 690 KAFN/99.3 K257GP Benton, 1310 KZYP Malvern/104.1 K281CK Sheridan, 1240 KVRC Arkadelphia, 100.9 KDEL-FM Arkadelphia, 99.7 KWPS-FM Caddo Valley/Hot Springs, and 106.9 KYXK Gurdon.
Educational Media Foundation will acquire Silent 104.9 KFVR-FM Rye/Pueblo CO from United States CP for $150,000. A Network Affiliation Agreement to carry the “Air 1” network will take effect on March 10.
Last March, Eric and Tiffany Miller’s Radio Sound Company purchased 1420 WRSA and the CP for 100.3 W262DH St. Albans VT from Steve Silberberg’s Radio Broadcasting Services for $150,000. The Millers are now selling the station back to Radio Broadcasting Services for $1 and the assumption of liabilities owed.
Partners Media Investments sells “Jet 95.7” 1480 WJTW Bridgeport AL/95.7 W239CO Chattanooga TN to Marshall Bandy’s Bridgeport Inc. for $30,000. Bandy owns 50% of Oldies “Jet Fli 1070” WFLI Lookout Mountain.
Laird Broadcasting Company sells Classic Country 800 WDUX/100.7 W264DS and Hot AC 92.7 WDUX-FM Waupaca WI to Donald Grassman and Keith Bratel’s Tower Road Media for $400,000.
Tanana Valley Television Company sells AAA “95.5 The Pass” KNLT Palmer/Anchorage AK to Joshua Fryfogle for $300,000. Fryfogle began operating the station via Time Brokerage Agreement last fall.
