Westwood One has notified affiliates that it will discontinue distribution of the NBC Sports Radio network at the end of the month.
While NBC Sports Radio ended 24/7 operations at the end of 2018, it continued to produce ProFootballTalk Live with Mike Florio from 6-9am eastern (with a 9am-12pm refeed), The Daily Line with Michael Jenkins and Tim Murray from 3-7pm eastern, The Safety Blitz with Rodney Harrison and Dan Schwartzman on weekends, and sports news updates at the top and bottom of the hour seven days a week.
Westwood One will continue to distribute the NHL Playoffs this year that had been part of the NBC Sports Radio platform. NBC Sports also carries ProFootballTalk Live on its NBCSN television network, but the company has not stated if it is affected by the syndication shutdown or if they will add a new radio distributor.
The following memo was sent to NBC Sports Radio affiliates earlier this week:
Attention WESTWOOD ONE affiliates:
This letter will serve as notification that Westwood One will discontinue distribution and representation of NBC Sports Radio content. The cancellation is effective 11:59:59 PM ET on Tuesday March 31.

- Best of ProFootballTalk Live with Mike Florio
- The Daily Line with Michael Jenkins and Tim Murray
