Cumulus Media flipped Sports “100.7 The Ticket” 1340 KRMD Shreveport/100.7 K264AS Mooringsport LA to Soft AC “Lite Rock 100.7” this morning.
Positioned as “Shreveport-Bossier’s New At Work Radio Station”, the new format positions the station competitively between Townsquare Media AC 96.5 KVKI and Alpha Media Classic Hits “95.7 The River” KLKL.
The new brand is being overseen by Cumulus Shreveport Operations Manager Jay Michaels.
CUMULUS MEDIA announces that it launched a new Adult Contemporary radio station today, LITE ROCK 100.7 “Shreveport’s New At Work Station”, on KRMD-AM and its FM translator, K264AS. LITE ROCK 100.7, moves the station from its previous Sports format, and will play at least 50 minutes of music every hour, featuring the biggest soft rock songs from the 70’s to today. The new station kicked off its inaugural day with music from some of the station’s core artists, including Fleetwood Mac, Adele, Chicago, Whitney Houston, Ed Sheeran and more. LITE ROCK 100.7 will also air The John Tesh Radio Show Sunday through Friday nights from 7pm-midnight. The station also debuted its new website today at http://www.LITEROCK1007.com.
