After just shy of two years in mornings at Entercom Classic Hits 104.3 WOMC Detroit, Stephen Clark is retiring to focus on songwriting.
Clark joined WOMC in April 2018 just after retiring from a 40 year career in television news including sixteen years as 6 and 11pm weekday anchor at WXYZ Detroit. He previously worked in Colorado Springs, Denver, San Diego, Wichita, and at WCBS-TV New York before coming to Detroit. Clark began his broadcasting career at radio stations in his native Colorado.
As he intended to do two years ago before joining WOMC, Clark plans to focus on his songwriting. Co-host Jackie Purtan and producer Jason Raithel will continue in mornings at WOMC.
