FCC Actions
The FCC has issued a Notice of Violation to Cumulus Media’s “Sports Radio 1510” KBED Nederland/Beaumont TX for operating beyond its authorized daytime operation. FCC agents logged KBED operating past sunset, which engineer Greg Davis noted was due to a failed remote control. The agents also noticed the door to one of the towers was missing, which Davis stated was due to flooding in the area and repaired the following day.
