Local Media San Diego relaunched Variety Hits “100.7 San Diego” KFMB-FM as “100.7 Big-FM” at noon today.

The station promoting a bigger music library with artists such as Aerosmith, Prince, Queen, Madonna, Fleetwood Mac, Bon Jovi, Adele, Depeche Mode, Billy Idol, the Beatles, Michael Jackson, Duran Duran, Phil Collins, Coldplay, the Rolling Stones, and Bob Marley. Alternative “91X” XETRA-FM Program Director Garrett Michaels will add those duties at Big-FM, which will run jockless.

New KFBG call letters are pending. Local Media San Diego closed on its purchase of 100.7 from TEGNA last month.

The station launched with Queen’s “We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions” followed by Katrina and the Waves “Walking On Sunshine”, Phil Collins “In The Air Tonight”, and Michael Jackson “Black or White”.

A spin of Queen’s “We Will Rock You,” at Noon today marked the roll out of 100.7 BIG FM (KFMB-FM), a station with a bigger music library, playing a bigger variety of songs you like.
