Rick Lambert and Bob Spencer’s First Media Services are expanding to Albany GA with the acquisition of Cumulus Media’s five stations for $450,000.

First Media Services, which operates ten stations in southern West Virginia, will acquire Adult R&B “V101.7” WQVE Albany, “Rock 103” 103.5 WJAD Leesburg, Country “Nash-FM 104.5” WKAK Albany,
AC “Mix 107.7” WEGC Sasser, and Talk 1590 WALG Albany with CP for 99.3 W257ED Albany. First Media Services will take over the stations prior to closing, however a date has not been shared in the contract.

First Media Services most recently acquired Alpha Media’s Bluefield WV properties in 2018.
