iHeartMedia CHR 93.3 WFLZ Tampa will launch its new morning show on June 1.
THEjoeSHOW hosted by Joe Carballo, Ashley Nics and Producer Jed Shilling will relocated from multiple positions at iHeart’s “Channel 95.5” WKQI Detroit to fill the vacant morning slot on WFLZ. Joe Carballo currently serves as APD/MD/afternoon host at WKQI, Ashley Nics is a producer on WKQI’s “Mojo In The Morning” and hosts middays, while Jed Shilling worked in the programming and digital departments. The trio host the “Heavily Anxious” podcast for iHeartRadio.
WFLZ had carried The Kane Show in mornings from 2012 until his exit from the company last month. After one day of airing the replacement “Your Morning Show”, WFLZ dropped the program.
93.3 FLZ, Tampa Bay’s #1 Hit Music Channel, welcomes “THEjoeSHOW” to the morning program lineup, effective June 1. The show, which originated in Detroit, will make the move to Tampa Bay and will broadcast weekdays from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Joe, Ashley and Jed join iHeartMedia Tampa Bay from Channel 955 in Detroit, MI. While at Channel 955, Joe most recently served as the top-ranked afternoon host and assistant program director, Ashley served as a producer for “The Mojo in the Morning Show” and also hosted middays and Jed worked in the programming and digital department. Together, the three also hosted the “Heavily Anxious” podcast.
