iHeartMedia Country “The Big 98” 97.9 WSIX Nashville has announced that “95.5 The Bull” KWNR Las Vegas Program Director Wayne ‘Big D’ Danielson will join the station as afternoon host.
Danielson joined KWNR as afternoon host in August 2016 and was promoted to Program Director in February 2018. He previously served as APD/MD/afternoon host at sister CHR “93.1 The Party” KPLV and has also hosted nights at CHR 101.3 KDWB Minneapolis and worked at 104.7 KCLD St. Cloud MN in his career.
‘Big D’ fills the spot that had been held by Tige and Daniel until their exits in January’s iHeartMedia cuts.

The BIG 98, Nashville’s #1 for New Country, announced today that BIG D will join the station as a new on-air personality, effective immediately. BIG D will broadcast weekdays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Each weekday afternoon, renowned on-air personality BIG D will connect with Nashville listeners and discuss the latest local and pop culture headlines, share personal stories and perspective from artists within the community and lead The BIG 98, as Nashville’s #1 rated country station.

BIG D joins iHeartMedia Nashville from 95.5 The Bull in Las Vegas where he most recently served as a program director and afternoon drive on-air personality. He began his career at KCLD-FM in St. Cloud, Minnesota and is a graduate of Brown College in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
