iHeartMedia Atlanta has promoted Chris Jones from General Sales Manager to Senior Vice President of Sales.
Jones joined the cluster in 2013 as Integrated Marketing Solutions Provider before rising to General Sales Manager in 2017. He previously served as a Marketing Director for Eagle Rock Distributing.
iHeartMedia announced today that Chris Jones has been named Senior Vice President of Sales for the Atlanta market, effective immediately. iHeartMedia Atlanta has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing more than six stations comprised of music, talk and news formats.
iHeartMedia has the leading consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company. As Senior Vice President of Sales, Jones will be responsible for overseeing all sales operations for the Atlanta market that delivers a strong return on investment for clients reaching consumers through iHeartMedia’s assets, including on-air, online, social media, and live events. He will report to Justin Schaflander, Market President for iHeartMedia Atlanta.

Jones most recently served as the general sales manager for iHeartMedia Atlanta. He began his career at Eagle Rock Distributing and is a graduate of the University of Georgia.
