Eric Johnson is returning to Beasley Media Group as Program Director of AC “Mix 99.5” WJBR Wilmington DE.
Johnson most recently programmed Sports “97.5 The Fanatic” WPEN-FM Burlington NJ/Philadelphia from November 2017 until November 2019. Prior to that he spent 18 years as PD of “New Jersey 101.5” WKXW Trenton and has also programmed CHR “Laser 104.1” WAEB-FM Allentown PA and Hot AC turned Alternative “Y100” 100.3 WPLY Philadelphia and served as APD of Sports 610 WIP Philadelphia.
Johnson will also host afternoons at WJBR. He succeeds John ‘Johhny B’ Baublis as Program Director, but he remains with the station as morning host.
Beasley Media Group announces Eric “EJ” Johnson has been named Program Director at WJBR-FM in Wilmington, Delaware. He will officially begin his new position on Wednesday, July 1st, 2020.
Johnson most recently served as program director at Beasley’s 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia. Previously, he spent the past 19 years working as the Brand Manager and Program Director at New Jersey 101.5 FM. Prior to that, Johnson worked as the Assistant Program Director at WIP and the Program Director at Y-100 in Philadelphia.
In his new role, the radio veteran will be in charge of content for WJBR-FM’s on air and digital platforms as well as hosting the afternoon drive show on the station.
