Mid-West Family Broadcasting is shuffling the programming on two of its St. Joseph/Benton Harbor MI stations on Monday, July 20.
The company will consolidate the programming of Sports “WSJM Sports” 1400 WSJM/106.1 W291DK St. Joseph onto News/Talk 94.9 WSJM-FM Benton Harbor.
The new WSJM-FM lineup will see Taking the Lead with Jim Gifford & Spencer Rivers remain in mornings from 6-9am, Michigan’s Big Show with Michael Patrick Shiels will lose its third hour and air from 9-11am, while Fox Sports Radio’s Dan Patrick Show will be added from 11am-1pm. Afternoons will remain the same with Dave Ramsey from 1-3pm, Dr. Asa RX from 3-5pm, WSJM News NOW from 5-530pm and Got Something To Say with Jonny Reinhardt from 530-6pm. At night the station will go Sports with The Huge Show with Bill Simonson from 6-9pm, Fox Sports Radio from 9pm-12am and ESPN Radio overnight. WSJM-FM will also carry Detroit Tigers baseball, Detroit Lions football, St. Joseph High School football and University of Michigan Football & Basketball.
WSJMSports.com will continue to offer a 24/7 feed of the national ESPN Radio lineup online.
Replacing the Sports format on 1400 WSJM/106.1 W291DK will be Alternative “106.1 The New QYQ” under new WQYQ call letters. The new format will run jockless and with limited commercials featuring core artists Cage The Elephant, Billie Eilish, Twenty One Pilots, Blink 182, The Killers, The Black Keys, and The Head and The Heart.
