Spanish Catholic operator El Sembrador Ministries is expanding into Salt Lake City with the acquisition of Adult Standards “Unforgettable 1430” KLO Ogden.
El Sembrador will pay KLO Broadcasting $260,000 for the station. The buyer will also be responsible for a $6500 payment to Skyline Tower Painting to cover half of the costs of painting the station’s towers. The KLO call letters are excluded from the sale and will likely be transferred to one of its two co-owned FMs in the market.
The buyer operates non-commercial stations in California, Las Vegas and brokers time on 750 WNDZ Portage/Chicago.
Following the sale KLO Broadcasting parent Capital Broadcasting will retain AC “Now 97.9” KBZN Ogden and Classic Alternative “103.1 The Wave” KSQN Coalville in the Salt Lake City market.
