iHeartMedia quietly moved Hot AC “Mix 100.5” WDVI Rochester NY to AC on Monday.
The station keeps its current branding, but its on-air lineup outside of the morning show hosted by Pete ‘The Mayor’ Kennedy and Program Director Julie Dunn changes. The station features Dana Tyson in middays, Rick O’Bryan in afternoons and Jeffrey T. Mason at night. The playlist and most of the schedule matches iHeart’s “Y94” WYYY Syracuse and “Mix 103.3” WMXW Binghamton (with the exception of Delilah on the other two and different morning show on WMXW), which are both programmed by Dunn.
WDVI registered a 1.8 share in the June 2020 Nielsen Audio ratings. The move to AC places WDVI closer to co-owned rimshot “Sunny 102.3” WVOR Cananadaigua, which covers the eastern side of the Rochester market and Stephens Media Group’s “Warm 101.3” WRMM Rochester and leaves the cluster without a Hot AC.
