After being let go from mornings at Federated Media Hot AC 97.3 WMEE Fort Wayne IN in June, Andy Beckman will join Sarkes Tarzian’s crosstown AC “Majic 95.1” WAJI.

Beckman will debut in mornings on WAJI on Tuesday, September 8. The move marks a return for Bekman as he previously served as an on-air host and producer before joining WMEE in 2011.

Andy Beckman, Fort Wayne radio air personality, has agreed to join WAJI MAJIC 95.1, as the new on-air host for weekday mornings, beginning September 8.

Beckman left WMEE on June 26, where he had been the host of the morning show for 9 years.
“I feel like I’m coming back home,” said Beckman. “MAJIC 95.1 is where I started in the radio business, and I’m very excited to be back!”

Lee Tobin, General Manager of WAJI, said “I’ve known Andy personally for almost 20 years, and he is a great person, great family man, and an incredibly funny guy. We are very happy to have him back on the MAJIC 95.1 team!”

MAJIC 95.1 specializes in current pop music by artists like The Jonas Brothers, Taylor Swift, and Ed Sheeran, along with songs from the 90s, and 2k by artists like Maroon 5, Kelly Clarkson, and Backstreet Boys.

WAJI MAJIC 95.1 is owned by Sarkes Tarzian, Inc., who also owns WLDE Classic Hits 101.7, ALT 102.3, and 99.5 The Twenty FM.
