247 Media Ministries through W247 Broadcasting LLC will pay $320,000 for KTDD.
Original Report 8/31:247 Media Ministries’ “Worship 24/7” Contemporary Worship network will be coming to Tacoma as the company has agreed to acquire Christian AC 104.9 KTDD Eatonville WA from iHeartMedia’s Ocean States Trust.
KTDD will become the second affiliate of the network following their purchase of 93.7 KURT Prineville/Bend OR last year.
KTDD has been running iHeart’s “Positive Hit Music” national playlist since being placed in the divestiture trust in December 2017. The other two stations placed in the trust have since been divested.
247 Media Ministries, the parent organization of the Worship 24/7 radio network, has reached an agreement to acquire KTDD-FM from Ocean Station Trust II. KTDD-FM is licensed to Eatonville, Washington and currently airs a Christian Adult Contemporary format.
The new signal will increase the potential reach of Worship 24/7 to over two million people in cities including Tacoma, Olympia, Renton, Federal Way and the entire South Puget Sound region.
KTDD-FM will be the second FM signal airing the Worship 24/7 network, joining KURT-FM in Central Oregon. Worship 24/7 launched in June of 2019 as an internet-only station and quickly drew a passionate and loyal listener base. People in over 130 countries have tuned in to Worship 24/7 in the past thirteen months, and approximately 200 new people start listening each day through the Amazon Alexa smart speaker platform.

The transaction of KTDD-FM still requires FCC approval, and is expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year. Jon Yinger of Broadcast Properties, LLC assisted the Buyer in this transaction.
