Fox News Audio has announced it has added 56 new affiliates following the closing of Westwood One News.
Among the stations joining Fox News Radio are Red Apple Media’s 770 WABC New York and Cumulus’ 820 WBAP Dallas and 105.9 WMAL Washington DC.
FOX News Audio has expanded its national radio affiliate network to include 56 former Westwood One News affiliate stations, the network announced today. New partnered affiliates include leading stations WABC-AM in New York, WMAL-AM in Washington, D.C. and WBAP-AM in Dallas, Texas, among others.
The addition of the affiliate stations follows the closure of Cumulus Media’s Westwood One News service on August 30. Besides offering one and five-minute hourly newscasts, FOX News Audio will also offer partnered affiliates breaking news coverage and special programming for holidays and political events, including the upcoming presidential election.
