Gold Standard Broadcasting has begun operating Laurie Broadcasting’s 1430 WLTG/101.7 W269DR Panama City FL via and has flipped the station from Conservative Talk to Rhythmic CHR “Hot 101.7“.
The move resurrects the “Hot” brand that was utilized by Powell Broadcasting’s WPFM Panama City until its 2018 sale to Educational Media Foundation. The new “Hot 101.7” is more Rhythmic leaning than WPFM was in its last days and is positioned as “Panama City’s Party Station”.
WLTG has added the syndicated DeDe In The Morning for mornings and Tino Cochino Radio in evenings. As part of the Time Brokerage Agreement, Laurie Broadcasting will receive 50 percent of the net income after 30% of the gross and $50 in production charges if applicable.
Gold Standard Broadcasting also operates Horizon Broadcasting Sports “ESPN 104.3” WGSX Lynn Haven/Panama City.
