New South Radio CHR “Y101.7” WYOY Jackson MS has announced the addition of Jenn Ryan and Kevin ‘Bus’ Birdhouse for mornings.

The duo previously worked together at Magic Broadcasting Panama City when Ryan hosted mornings at CHR “Island 106” WILN. She joins WYOY from JVC Media CHR “Q92.9” WMFQ Ocala FL and has previously worked in mornings at stations including KCHZ and KCJK Kansas City. Bus joins WYOY from Louisiana Radio Networks and previously has worked at WILN, “Classic Rock 95.9” WRBA and “97X” WYYX Panama City.

Jenn and Bus will debut in Jackson in mid-October filling the opening created by Chris Bender’s departure for a career in real estate and Nate West moving to mornings at New South Country “US 96” 96.3 WUSJ Jackson.

New South Radio PD Nikki Brown is beaming with anticipation as she prepares to welcome the duo to town in mid-October and says, “We are so excited about the future of Y101 knowing Jenn and Bus are the ones who will help take us to the next level”. Jenn & Bus previously worked together at Magic Broadcasting Panama City in 2017. Jenn comes to Y101 from JVC’s Q92.9 Ocala FL where she was hosting mornings, while Bus re-joins her from Louisiana Radio Network.
