Longtime Cox Media Houston Imaging Director Maureen Cooper has exited to launch her own Maureen Cooper Creative focusing on radio imaging, writing, voice-over and production services.
Cooper has served as Imaging Director of Cox Country “93Q” 92.9 KKBQ and Classic Rock “106.9/107.5 The Eagle” KHPT/KGLK since 2010 and previously has held similar positions in Orlando and Syracuse. She will continue to serve as imaging voice for KGLK/KHPT and Great Circle Media AC “Magic 99.1” KTMG Prescott AZ.
Maureen Cooper today announces the launch of Maureen Cooper Creative; offering consulting, writing, voice-over, and production services to radio and commercial clients. She specializes in the art of effective storytelling within the genre of radio station imaging.
For the past decade, Maureen has been the Imaging Director of KKBQ “The New 93Q” and KGLK “Houston’s Eagle.” Her unique approach to audio branding has contributed to years of ratings and revenue success, as well as 3 CMA awards, 4 Marconi awards, and one ACM.
She has been a first-round judge of the RAB’s Radio Mercury Awards for the past 3 years, as well as a 5-time finalist for her work with both stations. In 2017 Maureen received a Gracie Award in the category of Local Public Service Announcement for her writing and production of The New 93Q Cares For Kids Radiothon. In addition, she serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of the WJPZ Alumni Association at Syracuse University. Maureen has also served as imaging director for CMG in Orlando, FL and Syracuse, NY.
