Rock “101.3 The Brew” WBFX Grand Rapids gave way to 60s/70s Oldies “Big 101.3“. Positioned as “Grand Rapids’ Fun Hits You Know”, the new format puts WBFX between Townsquare Media’s combo of Soft AC “100.5 The River” WTRV and Classic Hits 98.7 WFGR. The only Oldies station in the market had been Grand Valley State University’s non-commercial “Real Oldies 1480” WGVU.
WBFX’s former “Brew” identity had a 1.9 share in the September 2020 Nielsen Audio ratings.
