Broadway has registered 1007BobFM.com and Bob1007FM.com for KYMV indicating a shift back to Variety Hits for the station. "Rewind 100.7" debuted as Variety Hits in 2011 before gradually evolving to Classic Hits. The station had a 1.5 share in the November 2020 Nielsen Audio ratings, placing it well behind iHeartMedia's 94.1 KODJ's 6.0 share.
iHeartMedia has registered ClassicCountry957.com. While the domain is currently redirecting to the site for KSSN Little Rock (which already has a co-owned Classic Country station in that cluster), it is our expectation that the brand will be utilized at what is now CHR "Hot 95.7" KOSY-FM Anamosa/Cedar Rapids IA. KOSY-FM had a 1.1 share in the Spring 2020 Nielsen Audio ratings, placing it well behind KZIA Inc.'s "Z102.9" KZIA second ranked 7.3 share. It would also create a flanker to iHeart's "96.5 Kiss Country" KKSY against Townsquare's market leading 98.1 KHAK.
As Times-Shamrock's 92.1 WFUZ Nanticoke/Wilkes-Barre PA continues to stunt as "Christmas 92.1" since dropping Alternative in early November, we now have a clearer idea on what its next format will be. Times-Shamrock has applied to swap the call letters of WFUZ with co-owned 1240 WQFM Wilkes-Barre. That allows us to pinpoint the anonymous registrations made in October for 921QFM.com, 92QFM.com, TheNew92Q.com, NewQ92.com, NewQ92FM.com, Q921FM.com and Q92Now.com to the station. We're yet to narrow down a format but if we had to wager we'd expect something in the AC or Hot AC lane. [/membership]
