After 30 years in mornings at Entercom News/Talk 830 WCCO Minneapolis, Dave Lee announced this morning he will retire on April 30.
Lee joined WCCO as a weekend and fill-in host host in 1989. He would move to mornings a few years later alongside Roger Erickson before taking over the slot himself in 1997. Lee also spent a decade as the play-by-play voice for University of Minnesota football on WCCO from 2001-2010 and fill-in announcer for Minnesota Twins baseball. Prior to joining the station, Lee was Program Director/afternoon host at 790 KFGO Fargo.
