Entercom Classic Hits “98.1 Sunny-FM” KXSN and AC 96.5 KYXY San Diego have debuted new on-air lineups today.
After eleven months in mornings on KXSN, Rob & Joss Taylor are moving back to the same timeslot on KYXY. The couple joined the Entercom San Diego cluster in February 2019 to host mornings on KYXY and then moved to KXSN in February 2020. They previously spent thirteen years in mornings at Amaturo Sonoma Media Country “Froggy 92.9” KFGY Santa Rosa CA. With the return of Rob & Joss to mornings, Dorothy Tran moves back to middays and Sherry Knight back to nights as the station drops John Tesh’s “Intelligence For Your Life”.
KXSN will round out its lineup with the addition of three talents from co-owned Classic Hits “K-Earth 101” KRTH Los Angeles. Greg Simms, who had two previous stints in the market at 100.7 KFMB-FM during their Hot AC “Star 100.7” and Variety Hits “100.7 Jack-FM” days, will add mornings on KXSN in addition to afternoons at KRTH. KRTH midday host Lara Scott and evening host Larry Morgan will host those dayparts at both stations as Entercom continues to roll-out its format restructuring in additional markets. Joe Rosati will remain in afternoons at KXSN.
