After being let go from Beasley Media Rock 101.1 WRIF Detroit last April, Screamin’ Scott Randall is returning to his familiar 7pm-12am shift starting tonight.
Randall previously hosted nights at WRIF from 1996 until April 2020 after a three year stint in mornings at Rock “102.7 Z-Rock” WDZR. His return comes as WRIF prepares to celebrate its 50th anniversary on February 14.
Beasley Media Group Detroit announces Screamin’ Scott Randall will return home to 101 WRIF in his 7pm-12midnight shift beginning on Monday, February 1st, 2021.
Randall previously spent over two decades on the air in the night-time slot at the station.
“Screamin’ Scott’s energy, authenticity and kindness is a perfect fit for a legacy brand like WRIF,” said Scott Jameson, Beasley Media Group Vice President of National Content and Director of Programming of the company’s Detroit-based radio properties. “He will hold down the 7pm-midnight show, along with doing what he’s always done best, serving our community by helping others.”
