A multi-market combination of signal moves has moved North Country Radio Variety Hits “Lake-FM” to a new frequency in Saranac Lake NY.
The former 100.7 WPLA Plattsburgh West NY completed its move to Ray Brook in January and has taken on the format and call letters that had been heard on 93.3 WSLP Saranac Lake. The 100.7 license had been silent since then WIRY-FM ceased operations in January 2020. “Lake-FM” will continue to also be heard on 102.1 WRGR Tupper Lake.
The 93.3 license has now taken on the WPLA call letters ahead of its pending move to Warrensburg NY where it will serve the Glens Falls area.
WSLP and WRGR had flipped from AC “The Mix” to Variety Hits in September 2020.
