Deongello ‘Gello’ Vanorsby is out as morning host at Beasley Media Classic Hip Hop “105.1 The Bounce” WMGC Detroit.
Vanorsby joined WMGC as afternoon host in December 2016 shortly following the format’s launch. He and former co-host Joanna Tuttle moved to mornings in November 2018. Prior to coming to Detroit, Gello hosted mornings at Sierra H Hip Hop “101.1 The Beat” KNRJ Cordes Lakes/Phoenix AZ and also hosted nights and mornings at Riviera Broadcasting Rhythmic CHR “Power 98.3” KKFR. He has been tracking middays at KKFR again since last July.
