After its $262,500 sale in November 2019 to American General Media never closed, Colt Comm sells Classic Country 95.7 KKCA Arvin/Bakersfield CA to Precious Mayes’ SHEMogul Media LLC for $315,000. Mayes is CEO of a Los Angeles area hospital.
Butler Broadcast Consultants sells AAA “X Key West” 104.9 WXKW Key West FL to James Day for $61,831.08. Nearly half of the purchase price will be allocated to pay off debts owed including $8983 for purchase of new transmitter and antenna, $4225 to FCC for delinquent fees, $10,831.08 to settle a probate case, $527 owned in city license debt, and $3350 for and engineering study and filing. The estate of Stephen Butler will receive the remaining $33,915 at closing.
Mountain Wireless sells “Cruisin Country 93.5” WCTB Fairfield, AC “The Mix” 107.9 WFMX Skowhegan and Oldies “Legacy 1160” WSKW Skowhegan ME to Jay Hanson’s J. Hanson Company for $1.8 million. Hanson has operated the stations via LMA since December 2007.
Word Power Inc. sells Christian 1480 WPFR/106.3 W292FT Terre Haute IN, 93.7 WPFR-FM Clinton IN, 800 WKZI/94.7 W234CK Casey IL, 91.5 WLHW Casey IL, and 107.9 W300DD Greenup IL to American Hope Communications for $179,000. The stations had ceased operations in March 2020, and resumed operations last month.

One Ministries sells 88.7 KBWK Truth or Consequences NM to Tropics Inc. for $8000. The buyer describes its objective as “KBWK will be an independent, noncommercial station that serves, engages with, and connects the local community and visitors to the region through diverse music, information, and cultural content and a regular weekly public interest show that specifically addresses the needs of Truth or Consequences, NM”.
