iHeartMedia Hip Hop “95.7 The Beat” WBTP Tampa is making a morning show change.
The station will swap out Premiere Networks’ The Steve Harvey Morning Show for The Breakfast Club starting Monday, May 17. The move corresponds with the station shifting from a mix of Hip Hop and Adult R&B to a more standard Hip Hop playlist.
The remainder of the station’s lineup is adjusted as well. Anjali Queen B will move from afternoons to middays replacing Program Director Mychal Maguire, who comes off air. WJBT Jacksonville based T-Roy moves from 6-9pm to afternoons. The station also has dropped The Keith Sweat Hotel from its late night slot.
WBTP currently ranks thirteenth in the Tampa market with a 3.4 share. That places it behind Beasley Media Rhythmic CHR “Wild 94.1” WLLD’s seventh ranked 4.5.
