iHeartMedia has dropped its 24/7 podcast programming from the second of its three stations carrying it.
1470 WSAN Allentown PA, which was the first station to shift to “iHeart Podcast” in March 2019, flipped this morning to Oldies “Real Oldies 1470“. Utilizing iHeart’s internal “Real Oldies” network focusing on 1960s and 70s hits, the station features the locally based Craig Stevens in mornings. Stevens serves as VP/Programming for iHeartMedia’s Allentown and Reading PA stations and also hosts afternoons on “Y102” WRFY Reading and “97.3 The River” WRVV Harrisburg.
WSAN follows the flip of 1350 KABQ Albuquerque to Christmas music away from the podcast programming last month. Only 95.9 WEBG Mina NY/Erie PA remains with the “iHeart Podcast” programming around the clock.
iHeartMedia Allentown announced today the debut of the new Real Oldies 1470, the Lehigh Valley’s greatest hits of the 60s and 70s, effective immediately.
Real Oldies 1470 will play the biggest hits of the 60’s and 70’s from top artists including The Beatles, Bee Gees, The Four Seasons, The Grass Roots, Elvis Presley to Motown’s popular artists and everything in between. Real Oldies 1470 is the Valley’s one stop shop for the greatest hits.
