iHeartMedia flipped Rock 107.5 WZRX-FM Fort Shawnee/Lima OH to 60s/70s Oldies as “107.5 The Big Buck” this morning.
The move marks a return of the format and brand to the frequency as the station signed-on as “The Big Buck” WBUK in 1991. The format and calls then moved to former sister 106.3 in 2002, now Classic Rock “106.3 The Fox“.
iHeartMedia Lima announces the debut of an all new 107.5 THE BIG BUCK, effective immediately.
107.5 THE BIG BUCK plays the greatest hits of the 60s & 70s, including songs from The Beatles, Elvis, The Rolling Stones, The Four Seasons, Elton John, The Beach Boys, and all the hits from MoTown era. The station will also feature a “Buckhead of the Day” as well as Lima’s morning news and sports.
“The Big Buck is Lima’s soundtrack for good times, fun, and great music,” says Market President Matt Bell, adding, “This music hasn’t been played on the radio for a long time. We’re excited to bring The Big Buck back to Lima and brighten everyone’s mood.”
