Brewer Media Group has rebranded Adult R&B “Groove 93.5” WMPZ Harrison/Chattanooga TN as “G93“.
The change comes with a new on-air lineup. While Reach Media’s Rickey Smiley Morning Show remains in place, Tony Rankin moves from cluster afternoon traffic reporter and weekend host to move to middays. Operations Manager Keith Landecker moves to afternoons on WMPZ after over 30 years in the same daypart at sister Hip Hop “Power 94” 94.3 WJTT Red Bank. He will be teamed with WMPZ Program Director and former midday host ‘Ms. Magic’ Crutcher as they replace Reach Media’s DL Hughley Show. Weekend host Van Dee moves up to nights.
The lineup changes also affect WJTT. Ash Nicole joins WJTT for middays from Cumulus Media’s “Kiss 98.5” WDAI Myrtle Beach SC. Eric Foster moves from middays to afternoons to fill Landecker’s former shift.
