HEH Communications rebranded Classic Hits “The Hits” 1490 KHVL and translators 94.1 K231DA and 104.9 K285GE Huntsville TX as “The Lake” earlier this month.
Serving the areas north of Houston, the station is now positioning as “More Music, More Fun”. KHVL is featuring a Rock leaning Classic Hits playlist of the 70s through 90s with the addition of more music from 90s coming with the rebrand.
The company is also beginning a search for a new Operations Manager for KHVL and Country 101.7 KSAM-FM as Steve Rixx is departing at the end of the month to join Cumulus Media’s 101.7 KAYD Beaumont as Program Director.
