Mike Conti Rises To WZGC Brand Manager

Audacy has promoted Mike Conti to Brand Manager of Sports “92.9 The Game” WZGC Atlanta.

Conti has been with WZGC since 2012 as Managing Editor. He has also been host of pregame, halftime and postgame coverage of the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks since 2014 and play-by-play for MLS’ Atlanta United FC since 2018 and will continue in both roles. He previously served as the host of pregame, halftime and postgame coverage for the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons. Prior to joining WZGC, Conti was News Director at News/Talk 640 WGST Atlanta.

Audacy announced the appointment of Mike Conti as Brand Manager of 92.9 The Game (WZGC-FM) in Atlanta. In this role, Conti will oversee content strategy, talent, operations and branding for the station, effective immediately. Conti will continue in his current role as radio play-by-play announcer for the station’s flagship coverage of the Atlanta United FC and as host of the Atlanta Hawks Radio Network.

Conti came to 92.9 The Game in October 2012 from WGST-AM in Atlanta, where he served as assistant news director. At 92.9 The Game, Conti has served as managing editor, overseeing coverage and production of live sports events. He has been the pregame, halftime and postgame host of the Atlanta Hawks Radio Network since 2014 and the play-by-play announcer for Atlanta United FC since 2018. He has also filled-in as play-by-play announcer for the Atlanta Falcons. At 92.9 The Game, Conti hosted pregame, halftime and postgame coverage of Super Bowl LI for the Atlanta Falcons Radio Network, called the 2018 MLS Cup Final, the 2019 Campeones Cup, and the 2018 MLS All Star Game. He has also hosted two NBA Eastern Conference Finals for the station.
