Magnum Media is growing its operations across Wisconsin into the Eau Claire market with the purchase of Soft AC/Standards “C105” 105.7 WCFW and 99.1 W256AE Chippewa Falls from Roland and Pat Bushland’s Bushland Radio Specialties for $600,000.
The Bushland’s have owned WCFW since it signed on in 1968. In a 2017 profile of the station, Roland Bushland was asked how the station has changed since then and answered, “It hasn’t.” The station airs polka in the early mornings, archived broadcasts of old-time Milwaukee and syndicated host Jack Raymond, and a considerable amount of local high school sports. The station has no online presence.
