A little over a year after flipping 101.7 KLTD Temple/Killeen TX from Classic Rock to Regional Mexican “La Grande 101.7“, Townsquare Media flipped the station again to Spanish Adult Hits as “Juan 101.7” in late June.
The move places the Santos Latin Media 24/7 format on the station as it becomes the second Townsquare owned property to utilize the “Juan” programming along with “Juan 95.7” 1390 WEOK Poughkeepsie NY.
KLTD flipped from Classic Rock to Regional Mexican in May 2021. The station dropped to a 1.8 share in the Fall 2021 Nielsen Audio ratings. Portions of the Killeen/Temple markets are served by competing stations in the format from the neighboring Austin and Waco markets.
