Hope Media Group has announced the acquisition of Christian AC “90.9 Life-FM” WLFE Cutler Bay/Homestead FL from Calvary Chapel of Kendall.
The $1.1 million purchase will be utilized to bring the organization’s Spanish Christian “Vida Unida” programming to South Florida, where the station serves the southern portions of the Miami market. Hope Media Group launched the brand in November 2021 on 91.7 KHVU Houston and has since spread the programming to translators in Birmingham AL and Evansville IN and HD subchannels in Portland OR, Dallas, and Nashville.
Hope Media Group (HMG) has announced intent to purchase Miami radio station 90.9 WLFE from Calvary Chapel of Kendall, FL, with plans for it to serve as the South Florida outlet of “Vida Unida,” HMG’s Spanish-language format, whose flagship is 91.7 KHVU/Houston. This builds on the expansion of Vida Unida’s platforms across the nation following HMG’s merger with Way Media earlier this year.
