Following last week’s retirement of late night co-host Sandy Clough after 25 years at the station, more changes significant changes are taking place to the on-air lineup at Bonneville’s “104.3 The Fan” KKFN-FM Longmont/Denver CO.
Afternoon co-host Tyler Polumbus has departed “The Drive” alongside Darren McKee after three years as his contract was not renewed. Polumbus, a Denver area native who was an offensive lineman for the University of Colorado and the Denver Broncos, was on his second stint at the station after previously co-hosting a one-hour show in 2017. He then hosted mornings at iHeartMedia’s “Orange & Blue 760” KDSP and served as a sideline reporter for Broncos game broadcasts in 2017 and 2018 prior to returning to KKFN in October 2019.
With the departure of Polumbus, 6-9pm co-host Orlando Franklin was heard today alongside McKee. Franklin had returned to KKFN in June after previously co-hosting 9am-12pm on the station from 2018 to 2021 before departing to become a coach with the San Francisco 49ers.
KKFN has removed the 6-9pm show hosted by Franklin and Cecil Lammey as well as the 9pm-12am show hosted by Clough and Shawn Drotar. No plans have been announced for those timeslots nor Lammey and Drotar’s

My show on The Fan with Sandy Clough is no more; we finish our run as the top-ranked talk show in our slot (and top 5 overall), with ratings that rose in every month of 2022.
