‘Mean’ Jean Fremont is joining Beasley Media Group Classic Hip Hop “105.1 The Bounce” WMGC Detroit as APD/morning host.
Fremont joins WMGC from SummitMedia Hip Hop “Hot 104.5” WKHT Knoxville TN where he has served as PD/afternoon host since November 2021. Fremont spent two stints at WKHT, hosting nights from 2014 to 2018, then returning in November 2019 as MD/afternoon host and then rising to APD and then PD. He has also worked at Cox CHR “Power 95.3” WPYO and CBS’ “102 Jamz” WJHM and “101.9 Amp Radio” WQMP in Orlando.
Fremont will join Shannon Renee in mornings taking the role that had been held by Zannie K until his exit last month.
Beasley Media Group announces Mean Jean Fremont has been named as the new Morning Personality and Assistant Program Director at 105.1 The BOUNCE (WMGC-FM) in the Motor City. He will officially begin his new position on October 17, 2022.
Fremont most recently served as the Program Director of WKHT Hot 104.5 in Knoxville, Tennessee and worked as the station’s afternoon drive personality. In his new role, he will work alongside Shannon Renee mornings WMGC 105.1 while also serving as APD at the station.
