iHeartMedia News/Talk 970 WFLA Tampa/94.5 W233AV Gulfport/99.1 W256CT Bayonet Point FL has announced the addition of Dana McKay as Executive Producer and co-host of AM Tampa Bay with Jack Harris from 5-7am and The Ryan Gorman Show from 7-10am.

McKay has been serving as a national voicetracker for many of the company’s AC formatted stations including “Mix 100.7” WMTX Tampa and 97.1 WASH Washington DC, a role she will continue to hold. She also spent three years as midday host at CHR 93.3 WFLZ in the early 2000s where Gorman was a late night/weekend host. She later returned to Tampa to host middays at Hot AC “Play 98.7” WSJT from 2010-2012. McKay has also worked at stations including “Mix 98.5” WBMX Boston, 96.5 WTIC-FM Hartford, and served as APD/MD/midday host at “94.7 Fresh-FM” WIAD Washington DC from 2014 to 2019.

She fills the slot on the shows that had been held by Katie Butchino. Butchino announced last week that she is relocating to Jacksonville where she has been hosting middays on iHeartMedia Country 99.1 WQIK since late September.
