After beginning the process of moving its former News/Talk audience to 970 KBUL/103.3 K277DS Billings in August, Townsquare Media has flipped 95.5 KCHH Worden/95.1 K236AB Billings MT to AC “95.5 Lite-FM“.
The new AC brand is launching with Christmas music until January 1, at which time it will debut what it is describing as “Billings’ best variety of 80s, 90s, and today.” The new station will bring the syndicated “Brooke & Jeffrey” morning show back to the market after it was dropped by sister 97.1 KKBR in September following its flip from CHR “97.1 Kiss-FM” to Hot AC “Mix 97.1“. The rest of the lineup will feature Townsquare’s national hosts Michelle Heart in middays and Jessica Williams in afternoons. Premiere Networks’ Delilah will be heard at night.
Billings hasn’t had a Mainstream AC station since Radio Billings’ short-lived “105.1 Star-FM” KYSX flipped to Rock in January 2019.
