Carlota Gonzalez has departed middays at Audacy Rock “98 Rock” KRXQ Sacramento.
Gonzalez had been with KRXQ since October 2021. She previously spent 18 years at 92.3 KOMP Las Vegas until June 2020. She also operated the Kilpop Rock app and earlier in her career spent time at KXTE Las Vegas and KRZR Fresno.
With her departure from KRXQ, the station now is jockless outside of the “Rob, Anybody & Dawn” morning show. The afternoon “That Damn Show” hosted by Stroke Mastro and Mikey Muscatello were let go in November following the layoff of co-host Ian Massengale in August.
