Word Media Group has launched Contemporary Worship “94.7 The Sound” on WFIA-FM New Albany IN/Louisville KY.
New WLGK call letters are pending for the station, which is also simulcasting on W&B Broadcasting’s 105.5 WLVK Fort Knox KY. WFIA-FM had been simulcasting Christian Preaching 900 WFIA/107.3 W297BV Louisville. The new format creates a flanker to co-owned Christian AC 88.5 WJIE-FM Okolona.
There does not appear to be any website or socials for the new brand yet, but it can be streamed here.
Word Media Group began operating WLVK in February via LMA where it first launched the “Sound” brand.
