The deal does not include the station’s 20 acre studio and tower property as that is being sold to an unknown housing developer. A time brokerage agreement took effect on January 1. Dubiel also owns 1530 WCKG Elmhurst/102.3 W272DQ Chicago.
Julie Ziegler and Lester Elton’s EZ Radio LLC will purchase 970 WYSE/102.9 W275CP Canton and 97.5 W248CM Waynesville NC from Saga Communications for $10,000 and the assumption of all leases associated with the stations. Ziegler is the Executor of the Estate of Robert Wilkins Jr and its Christian “Wilkins Radio Network“, which is already heard in the Asheville market on their 1230 WSKY Asheville. Saga will retain the WYSE call letters due to their similarity to Sports 1310 WISE Asheville, which it currently simulcasts.
