iHeartMedia CHR “Y100” WHYI Miami Program Director Taylor Jukes has been appointed as Senior Vice President of Programming for its San Diego cluster.
Jukes has programmed WHYI since April 2019 after a long career in Canada where she most recently served as Bell Media’s Senior Manager of National Content for iHeartRadio Canada. She has also programmed CHR “99.9 Virgin Radio” CKFM Toronto, “91.7 The Bounce” CHBN Edmonton, and the combo of “94.5 Virgin Radio” CFBT and AAA “Shore 104.3” CHHR Vancouver. She also serves on iHeart’s national CHR programming team and will continue in that role.
Jukes released in a statement, “I’m thrilled to be heading back to the West Coast to join the team in beautiful San Diego, where they have strong heritage brands and an amazing roster of talent! Thanks to Noreen Ippolito and Gene Romano for this incredible programming leadership opportunity.
