Audacy Rock “Bayou 95.7” WKBU New Orleans has launched “The Best Damn Morning Show” featuring Paul ‘Gonzo’ Cannell and ‘Ashley O’ Hollier.

Cannell joined WKBU in January as Brand Manager. It marked a return to the station as he began his career there from 2008-11 with stints in middays and nights and as Digital Media Manager. He then went to Townsquare Media Rock “99X” KTUX Shreveport as Digital Program Director and then Program Director from 2011-14, PD of Alpha Media’s “Fox 102.3” WMFX Columbia SC from 2014-15, Sunrise Broadcasting’s “Modern Rock 98.7” WRMR Wilmington NC in 2016-17, before returning to New Orleans to program Cumulus Media’s Alternative “Alt 92.3” WZRH and Country “Nash-FM 106.1” WRKN from 2017 to 2020.

Hollier moves to mornings from middays and also serves as Audacy’s Regional Promotions Manager. She joined Audacy in May 2022 after spending six years at Cumulus New Orleans from 2014-20 starting in sales before moving to promotions and then Music Director/afternoon host at Alternative “Alt 92.3” WZRH under Cannell. She also tracked at WRQQ Baton Rouge and WHHZ Gainesville FL after beginning her radio career in sales at Delta Media Lafayette.

With Ashley O’s move to mornings, WROQ Greenville SC midday host Jay ‘The Stoneman’ Stone is now also being heard in that timeslot in New Orleans.
