Scott Huber and Johnny McCrory’s 3 Towers Broadcasting have begun operating the three stations they are in the process of acquiring from DLC Media and have flipped them to new formats all using their “Giant FM” branding.
AC “Lite Hits 103.1” WAKO-FM Lawrenceville IL/Vincennes IN has shifted to a broader playlist.
Classic Hits “Superhits 104.9” WAXI Rockville/Terre Haute IN and Classic Country “The Legend” 910 WAKO/99.3 W257DW Lawrenceville have both flipped to Country. Former WTHI Terre Haute PD/afternoon host Eric Michaels will host afternoons on both stations. Former WAKO-FM morning hosts Arvin Hawkins and Steve Anderson and Chicago Cubs baseball will move to WAKO/W257DW, while WAXI drops the Cubs completely.
3 Towers Broadcasting operates four other stations in Indiana all using the “Giant FM” branding across multiple formats: Hot AC 92.1 WROI Rochester, Classic Rock 94.3 WREB Greencastle, Country 1520 WSVX/96.5 W243CL/106.3 W292FH Shelbyville, and Hot AC 1050 WTCA/106.1 W291BQ Plymouth.
