SummitMedia has announced the appointment of J’Michael Francois as Vice President of Programming for R&B and Gospel. Francois will oversee the programming of Gospel 610 WAGG Birmingham and Adult R&B’s “98.7 Kiss” WBHK Birmingham, “107.3 Jamz” WJMZ Greenville SC, and “103.9 The Groove” WRKA Louisville.

Francois joins SummitMedia from Cumulus where he spent the past eighteen years as Operations Manager and Program Director for Hip Hop “Max 94.1” WEMX, Adult R&B “Q106.5” KQXL and Gospel “Heaven 1460/95.7” WXOK Baton Rouge and eleven years programming Adult R&B 102.9 KMEZ and Gospel “Heaven 106.7” KKND New Orleans.
